VFD PANEL

RuncoN VFD Panel (Variable Frequency Drive Panel) is an electrical control panel that houses a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) — a device used to control the speed and torque of electric motors by varying the frequency and voltage of their power supply.


Main Components

  1. VFD (Variable Frequency Drive): The core component, controlling motor speed.
  2. Main Breaker or Disconnect Switch: Provides isolation and overcurrent protection.
  3. Input/Output Contactors or Relays: For switching power or signals.
  4. Overload Relays: Protect the motor from overheating or overcurrent.
  5. Control Transformers: Step down voltage for control circuitry.
  6. PLC or Logic Controllers (Optional): For advanced control logic.
  7. HMI / Human Machine Interface (Optional): For user interaction and monitoring.
  8. Cooling Fans or Ventilation: Keeps the drive and other components at safe temperatures.
